Preschool Location & Activity Areas
The East Oshawa Co Operative Preschool is located at 32 Wilson Road North, between King and Bond Streets in Oshawa [see Google map here]. The facility is two floors, and the total square footage of the usable space is approximately 1800 square feet. Every two weeks the toys and activities are changed.
The main level consists of the following:
- Office and kitchen
- Cubbies for storing children's coats, shoes & school bags
- Snack Table
- Circle Time/Book Area
- Painting/Drawing Easels
- Collage Table
- Language & Listening Centre
- Math & Science Area
- Cognitive & Fine Motor Area
- Free Play/Carpet Toys Area
- Sand/Sensory Table
- Computer Centre
The lower level consists of the following:
- Phonics Circle Area
- Free Play/Floor Toy Area
- Playdough Area
- Sand/Sensory Table
- Dramatic Play Area
- Gross Motor Activity Area
- Large Block Area
